STUDENT AGREEMENT

1. PARTIES TO THE AGREEMENT
This Agreement is made between Pronunciation with Emma (Emma Walker and/or assigned pronunciation coach) and the Student who joins The Confident Communicator.

 

2. BINDING DOCUMENTATION
This Agreement forms an integral part of the Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Cookies Policy, and Code of Conduct published on the official website. The student declares to have read, understood, and accepted these documents, whose content may be updated without affecting the validity of this contract.

 

3. PROGRAMME DESCRIPTION
The student is enrolling in the British English Pronunciation Programme, a 12-week online coaching programme that includes:

  • 1x 20-minute initial Welcome Call

  • 12x 1-hour private coaching sessions with an assigned pronunciation coach

  • 1x 20-minute final assessment call

  • A personalised initial and final pronunciation and accent assessment and custom-designed 12-week syllabus

  • Weekly pronunciation homework tailored to the student’s progress

  • Access to Emma's Pronunciation Hub for the duration of the programme

4. INVESTMENT, PAYMENT METHODS AND REFUNDS
The total cost of the British English Pronunciation Programme is €1,497 EUROS.

All payments are final. By choosing a payment plan (if offered), the Student agrees to complete all scheduled payments, even if they decide to pause or stop attending sessions.

Failure to complete payments will result in a temporary suspension from The Confident Communicator for up to 7 days until the outstanding payment is received.

If payment is not received within this 7-day period, the Student will permanently lose access to The Confident Communicator and forfeit their place in the programme, with no right to rejoin or continue.

Refunds are only available under the following conditions:

  • Before the first session:
    If the student decides to cancel their enrolment after joining the programme but before completing their diagnostic assessment, Welcome Call, or first coaching session, a €200 administrative fee will be retained. This fee covers the initial diagnostic review, syllabus creation, Welcome Call, and coach preparation time. The remaining balance will be refunded.

  • After the first session:
    If the student completes their first coaching session and decides the programme is not the right fit, they may request to withdraw and receive a refund of their payment, minus the €200 administrative fee outlined above.

  • After the second session onward:
    Once two or more sessions have been completed, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

  • Performance Guarantee:
    If, by the end of the 12-week programme, the student has attended all sessions, completed all assigned tasks, provided clear evidence of desire and attempts to improve, and followed the coach’s guidance, but has not improved at least one area identified in their initial pronunciation assessment, they are entitled to a free 60-minute private coaching session with Emma to address specific problem areas directly.

By enrolling, the student acknowledges that The Confident Communicator is a results-focused coaching programme requiring full participation, consistent practice, and commitment both inside and outside of coaching sessions.

 

5. PARTICIPATION AND ACCESS
The Student agrees to attend all scheduled sessions punctually, complete assigned practice tasks, and actively participate in the learning process. The Student is responsible for maintaining a stable internet connection and having the necessary technical equipment to access online sessions and materials.

If a Student fails to attend sessions and does not respond to communication attempts for 14 consecutive days, they will be automatically removed from the programme. In this case, the Student will forfeit their place and will not be entitled to a refund or re-entry into The Confident Communicator.

  • Programme Completion Deadline
    The Student agrees to complete all coaching sessions within a maximum period of sixteen (16) weeks from the date of their first scheduled session (Welcome Call or first coaching session, whichever occurs first). Any sessions not completed within this 16-week period will be considered forfeited, and no refunds, extensions, or rescheduling will be granted beyond this timeframe. 

6. CANCELLATION POLICY
Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice. Otherwise, the session will be considered completed. No refunds will be issued for absences or late cancellations.

 

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All programme materials are the exclusive property of Emma Walker (Pronunciation with Emma). Reproduction, distribution or modification without written authorisation is strictly prohibited.

 

8. CONFIDENTIALITY
The student agrees not to disclose any confidential information received during the programme, including teaching methods, coach data, or private conversations. This obligation remains in force even after the programme ends.

 

9. SESSION RECORDINGS
Some sessions may be recorded for academic or promotional purposes, with the student’s prior consent. Refusal will not affect participation.

 

10. CODE OF CONDUCT
The student expressly accepts the Code of Conduct published on the official website, which is mandatory for all participants. Enrolment in the programme implies tacit acceptance thereof.

 

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Pronunciation with Emma does not guarantee specific results. Progress depends on the student's commitment, dedication, and individual circumstances.

 

12. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
This Agreement is governed by Spanish law. The parties submit to the courts of Barcelona.

13. ACCEPTANCE
Enrolment in the programme implies full and tacit acceptance of this agreement and all related documents mentioned above.
